Landing in Color is about change, growth, and the moment when something slowly falls into place. In the center of the work, a butterfly lands on an open flower. A small moment of peace, amidst all the movement.

The painting is entirely built up in oil paint, with great attention to color, layers, and detail. The combination of soft transitions and powerful colors creates an image that feels both calm and vibrant.

This work was created during a period when I increasingly began to find my own way of working. Experimentation, intuition, and symbolism truly came together for the first time.

The butterfly represents change and development. Not as a grand statement, but as something that slowly emerges. Layer by layer.
