early works

This collection shows where I started.
These are works that I create during my training at the Milan Art Institute, a period in which I learn a lot, experiment and discover what suits me in form, technique and meaning.

I build each painting layer by layer, with attention and feeling.
Some works are more abstract, others more figurative, but there is something of me in every work.

When you choose a work, you are not only choosing an image, but also a piece of my process and growth.

The Memory of Flowers

This work is part of my creative journey as an artist.
The Memory of Flowers is an original piece, handmade on canvas and built up in several layers.

The work emerged from playful layers of ink, after which the flowers slowly formed in acrylic. In the final phase, they were finished with oil paint to add depth and vibrancy. The layering and texture evoke memories that remain as color, shape, and feeling—sometimes sharp, sometimes faded, but always present.

Becoming Her Own

Het eerste afgewerkte portret binnen mijn persoonlijke project om me te verdiepen in portretkunst. In dit werk onderzoek ik de balans tussen abstractie en realisme, zachtheid en kracht. Het gezicht is gedeeltelijk verborgen, maar straalt toch een duidelijke aanwezigheid uit  een stille bevestiging van innerlijke groei en zelfkeuze.

She Carries the Wild

An intuitive study exploring the wild undercurrent of the feminine. Layered in technique and feeling: from a turbulent base in spray paint to subtle golden accents that shine through the skin of oil paint. The patterns echo in animal and flora, as a reminder that nature is interwoven in everything.
